Community First Yorkshire is sad to say a very fond farewell to one of our longest serving team members and shining lights within the sector, Sandi Clark, who has announced her retirement.
Sandi will be greatly missed by the whole team as well as the countless groups who have benefited from her incredible expertise, warmth and compassion. But we are delighted to know that after decades of service, Sandi has wonderful plans to become a more avid gardener and to spend more time with her family.
We offer our sincere thanks to Sandi for her services to the Community Support and Volunteering Team, where she has been an incredible asset, bringing her in-depth understanding of volunteering, her passion and extensive knowledge of the coastal areas and her commitment to safeguarding and inclusivity. Sandi has a rich and diverse background; having worked for Ryedale Community Safety Partnership as their Crime and Disorder Officer and spent many years managing volunteer centres in Ryedale, Whitby and Scarborough. Sandi was able to bring a unique perspective to her work and was generous with her time and support for others.
If you’d like to pass on your well wishes to Sandi, you can share your message with Lizzie on email@example.com.
