Communications expert Carol Rennard is an independent PR consultant and trainer, and a former journalist and lecturer. Carol lives in Tunstall, Richmond, North Yorkshire, where she volunteers with her local community garden project. She was a trustee of mental health charity Leeds Mind for six years, and was on the board of trustees of the former voluntary sector infrastructure organisation, Involve Yorkshire and Humber.
A graduate of Common Purpose, Carol has particular expertise in working with charities and voluntary organisations on strategic communications. Charities she has worked with include Healthwatch Leeds, Age UK, Touchstone Support, Leeds Citizens Advice, Disability Action Yorkshire, Harrogate Homeless Project, Advonet (a Leeds-based advocacy service) and Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service.
