Thursday 17 May 2018, 9am-5pm, Priory Street Centre, York
Community First Yorkshire’s one-day conference brought the voluntary and community sector together across Yorkshire to hear from experts, share insights and new thinking, and explore action planning to take charge of change.
Thought leaders shared insights on civil society, rural issues and social change, sparking discussion and debate.
Networking over lunch and in themed sessions enabled future sharing.
Voluntary sector partners advised on key issues affecting services and communities in workshops and partner huddles.
New ways of working together to tackle change were explored during our practical, themed workshop sessions. From funding and future proofing your organisation, to shaping community housing, buildings and businesses and tackling social isolation.
