About Darlington Mind
Darlington Mind is a local Mental Health Charity that has been serving the community for 40 years. It is an independent charity and part of National Mind’s network of local associations.
We are proactive in supporting and educating people about mental health in the local community.
•Providing Advice and Information
We do this through:
•Providing activities to create peer support
•Helping individuals learn how to manage their mental health
•Raising awareness and providing education to reduce stigma around mental health
Our strategic priorities are to;
• Increase our range of services across Darlington, South Durham, Hambleton and Richmondshire
• Expand our housing offer across our area of benefit
• Diversify and increase organisation income
• Continue to explore opportunities to work in partnership
