The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has commissioned NatCen Social Research, an independent social research charity, to carry out an important piece of research on the key drivers in demand for support from volunteers. The study will explore how these drivers vary across the year and how COVID-19 has impacted those seasonal drivers and the community needs supported by volunteers.
This research will help the Government to better understand the trends in volunteering to inform both current COVID-19 responses and future volunteering strategy.
They would like organisations to take part in an in-depth interview as part of this research. The interview will last around 45 minutes and will be conducted either by phone or online between 22 February and 5 March. If you decide to take part and you qualify, they will donate a payment of £50 to your organisation as a thank you.
If you are interested in taking part, or if you have any questions, please email volunteering@natcen.ac.uk.
