Following on from an earlier round of training, West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership are offering free places on two summer courses which are all about putting Asset Based Community Development into practice in their communities.
Participants will have the opportunity to build on their knowledge of how local assets such as people, buildings and local spaces are key to ensuring sustainable healthier communities.
Delivered by ABCD experts Nurture Development the course will give a solid grounding in what ABCD is all about and how to make it work in your community. It includes a mix of seminars and practical work and gives access to a range of video, audio, written and visual learning to develop understanding of these important principles and their application.
The two e-learning courses start on Monday 28 June or Tuesday 6 July and include eight seminars.
The course is open to any West Yorkshrie and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership colleagues who work direct with communities.
All participants are asked to commit to the whole training which lasts four weeks.
Place are limited to twenty places for each course.
