Are you a community group (or a parish council) with an idea to start a community led housing project?
If so, Homes England need to know!
Homes England, the public body behind helping people in England access better homes in the right places, are currently calling out for information on any community led housing projects; even ones that have not yet started.
And they want it soon; by 31 May.
They are collecting information on potential community led housing projects, including new builds and conversions, who may need grant funding, over the next few years.
They need a summary of your plans, and the progress to date filled in via this form: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/call-for-information-on-community-led-housing-projects-by-may-31st
The collated information will help Government understand the likely level of interest in community led housing over the coming years and ensure they have the requirements to support it.
Please note, providing this summary information does not constitute an application for funding to the Community Housing Fund. A formal application would still need to be made.
And if you have already submitted a formal application to Community Housing Fund for a proposed community-led housing development, you don’t need to fill in the summary information because your data will be gathered from that application.
