Scarborough: Meet the Heritage Funders

The National Lottery Heritage Fund provides grants for heritage of all shapes and sizes from nature and landscapes, through to museums and celebrations.
The Two Ridings Community Foundation manages six community based grants in the Scarborough and Ryedale Area.
The Arts Council open access programme for arts, museums and library projects. It is funded by the National Lottery for individual artists, community and cultural organisations.
Funders will give an overview of funding opportunities and how to apply. If you have a project in mind there will be an opportunity to book a 1:1 appointment with funders.

By the end of the session you will:
- Be aware of the range of organisations which fund heritage projects
- Be informed about The National Lottery Heritage Fund (formerly HLF) small and medium grant programmes: National Lottery Grants for Heritage £3,000 – £10,000 and £10,000 – £250,000.
- Arts Council Grants up to £15k and over £15k
- Two Ridings Foundations Grants £250 -£50,000
