Craven District: Voluntary & Community Sector Network free event

December 15, 2017 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

Free
  • « Knaresborough: How to write a good funding application for Awards for All
  • Free Emergency Planning Event – Richmond »

The inaugural event of the Voluntary and Community Sector Network for the Craven District. Network events are free and open to any member of a voluntary group or organisation who is active in the Craven District.

Network events are jointly organised by Community First Yorkshire and NYCC Stronger Communities and aim to offer local organisations the opportunity to come together to hear guest speakers on topical subjects, share news, good practice and to discuss local needs and issues affecting the sector.

At this event there will be presentations on two new opportunities for Craven-based organisations to work collaboratively to help further improve community health and wellbeing.

The first is a presentation on “new opportunities to work with health partners” and the second on “the Compass E-Hub – an innovative way of linking the Third Sector, Social Care and Health together to provide a connected and holistic service for the residents of Craven District”.

Light refreshments will be available from 09:30 and the event starts at 10:00.
