Harrogate: VCS representatives needed to help shape adult / older people mental health services

November 27, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

  • « Husthwaite Village Christmas Market
  • Training: Effective Communication & Handling Difficult Situations »

Across North Yorkshire, Tees, Esk & Wear Valleys NHS Trust are currently working with local stakeholders, including staff, service users and the voluntary and community sector to develop a new model of service delivery for adult and older people’s mental health services. As partners we have an opportunity to influence, shape and develop a new way of working together and supporting service users differently. The new model will be underpinned by the principles and philosophies of recovery focussed and trauma informed care delivering a modern mental health service that is delivered as close to home as possible.

The NHS Trust would like to invite you to a visioning event on 27 November.

The morning will provide local organisations with an opportunity to find out more about the wider transformation programme across North Yorkshire and to work with the trust to explore new ways of working in partnership.

As part of this session we will be asking you to consider the following questions:

  • How can we continue to improve the quality of services and deliver modern mental health support within our finate resources?
  • What is working well across Harrogate?
  • What can we do differently?

Please download the full event briefing paper here.

If you would like to learn more about this event or to book a place please contact Kay Brette, Programme Manager on kay.brette@nhs.net.

Places are limited and as such will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
