Heritage Lottery Fund – Heritage is Broader Than You Think!
September 29, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 1:30 pm
Heritage is often associated with buildings and museums which, though an important part of our heritage, is not all of it.
Heritage is broader than you might think – it includes people’s memories, community history, archaeology, natural heritage such as habitats and species as well as historic buildings, museums and archives. Thanks to National Lottery players, the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) helps communities to protect and share heritage.
So if you want to find out how your group could get funding to run a heritage project, come and learn more about the Heritage Lottery Fund and discuss your heritage project ideas with one of the HLF team.
In addition Community First Yorkshire will be there to talk about their community and volunteer support service and their funding advisor will be available to talk about your project ideas.
We will supply tea and coffee, but please bring your own packed lunch.
