Harrogate Homeless Project is a registered charity providing a successful rough sleeper resettlement scheme, hostel accommodation for 16 homeless adults and a day centre, Springboard. The project supports vulnerable adults with a variety of support needs including drug and alcohol misuse, mental health issues and other often complex needs. We are currently recruiting an Activities Programme Development Worker to develop and lead our activities programme.
Activities Programme Development Worker: This is a permanent post, required to work 30 hours per week, normally Monday – Friday (including bank holidays where required). The postholder will be responsible for designing and delivering a programme of activities at our Day Service for homeless and vulnerably housed people. Using creativity and excellent planning skills the role will support people with a variety of support needs to engage in a range of learning and leisure activities predominantly offered at the day service but also other locations. The post holder will ensure an empowering, psychologically informed and client centred service is provided which meets the aims and goals of the Harrogate Homeless Project, funders and clients.
Salary: £18,636 per annum pro-rata (actual salary £13,977pa).
