Cloverleaf Advocacy is an independent charity established in 1995, based in the North of England. Our services support over 11,500 people each year providing outstanding advocacy and carer support services. We help people to make their own decisions, have their voices heard, their rights respected and to achieve their own goals. We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting vulnerable people to work as Statutory Advocate in our Total Advocacy service in North Yorkshire.
Statutory (IMCA, & Care Act) Advocate – Harrogate & Craven
18-35 hours per week
Salary: from £21,715 FTE to £22,700 FTE
Advocates support people to speak for themselves, or speak for them when this is not possible. We support people to access and understand information in order to make choices. You will be working with people with a range of needs which will include learning disabilities, dementia, mental health needs, physical or sensory impairment or acquired brain injury. You will be based at home but will visit people within care homes and hospitals as well as their own homes. Full PPE is provided and all visits risk assessed
