The Leeds Mind Counselling Service is expanding the existing Private Practice model and this role is for a therapeutic counsellor, on a variable hours contract, offering one to one counselling to clients on either one or two days/evenings per week, based at Clarence House in Horsforth, Leeds.
An essential requirement for this post that you are a fully qualified counsellor.
Counsellor – variable hours
Salary: Scale S01 point 23 – £26,999 per annum (pro-rata), £14.03 per hour
Hours: Up to six per week over two days/evenings.
Base: Clarence House
The post holder will:
Provide a 1:1 counselling service to clients of the service, providing assessment and therapy for up to six clients a week.
Work with the Counselling Coordinator to exercise professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment and discharge of clients whose problems are managed via counselling or psychotherapy intervention.
