Leeds Mind is the city’s leading mental health charity. Our peer support model has gained local, regional and national recognition, and we are proud to support all peer support staff and volunteers to share their own lived experience of mental health difficulties as an integral part of their roles.
You will join the Peer Support Team as Team Leader to provide leadership, co-ordination and support to a passionate team delivering and developing peer support groups and activities across Leeds.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Excellent communication skills
- Performance management skills
- Lived experience of mental health difficulties
- Understanding of Peer Support
- Passion for delivering and developing peer support services
Hours – 22.5 hours per week (over 3 days)
Scale – NJC Scale SO2 points 26-28
Salary – £29,636 – £31,371 per annum (pro rata)
Contract – Maternity Cover (up to 12 months)
