Citizens Advice Mid-North Yorkshire is looking for an experienced support worker to join our Action Towards Inclusion project (ATI).
You will be based in either our Northallerton or Richmond office and may need to attend occasional meetings at other venues throughout North Yorkshire.
The role is to help support and guide people into employment, training and developing new skills. A caring can do attitude is vital and a willingness to work as part of a team and liaise with other agencies in a positive way is important.
- Motivate participants to act on their own behalf with support.
- Negotiate with third parties such as statutory and non-statutory bodies
- Ensure that work reflects and supports the Citizens Advice service’s equality and diversity strategy.
- Maintain detailed case records for the purpose of continuity of casework, information retrieval, statistical monitoring and report preparation.
This post is funded until 31st December 2019 but further funding is likely.
