We provide a range of services aimed at raising awareness of the issues faced by older and ex-members of the armed forces and enabling them to lead fuller lives. This service covers all of North Yorkshire and is funded by the Aged Veterans Fund at the Ministry of Defence using LIBOR funds.
At a glance
We are committed to contributing to and widening the existing support available for older veterans across the County. We offer person-centred practical, financial, and holistic support – from hardship grants to arts and crafts to befriending. Veterans will have the opportunity to try new things, revisit old interests, or benefit from new and improved connections to their community.
We work closely with our delivery partners and other service charities to carry out this work. Please get in touch for more information or to find out how you can work with us.
