Voluntary groups and charity organisations are playing a critical role in the Covid-19 pandemic response. The sector is having to work in different ways, more flexibly and, in many instances, under real financial pressure.
Community First Yorkshire is seeking to find out how the sector is adapting and the challenges organisations across the county are facing.
We are working with other infrastructure support organisations across Yorkshire and Humberside, to use a common survey to gather information. You may get this from multiple sources so please only respond once. The survey collection is being co-ordinated by Voluntary Action Leeds who will pass data for North Yorkshire to Community First Yorkshire.
The data will be analysed by Community First Yorkshire for North Yorkshire and for each district, as well as wider health geographies. We will use the information to provide the right support services to meet changing needs and to make the case for additional resources to funders and planners.
The survey takes just a few minutes to complete and is anonymous unless you wish to provide your contact details. The data will be shared with health partners, local authorities and other support organisations. Please complete the survey here and please can you complete your response by Friday 1 May.
Find out more about what we are doing in response to the needs of the sector and our local communities and to find support resources on our Coronavirus page. If you have an immediate need for help please do not hesitate to contact us info@communityfirstyorkshire.org.uk.
We hope you are able to contribute to the survey. Thank you in anticipation for taking the time to add to our local intelligence, and help us and partners to shape our services.
