As some of you may already know, our much-loved colleague and friend, Lizzie Clapham, passed away suddenly on Thursday 23 November. We are all deeply saddened by this loss and Lizzie will be hugely missed by everyone here at Community First Yorkshire. She touched the lives of so many of us with her wit, insight, wisdom and kindness and her zest for life. Her passion for people and community knew no bounds and her commitment to the organisations she supported was limitless. In particular, her enthusiasm for all things volunteering reached so many people.

All our thoughts are with Lizzie’s family and friends as well as everyone at Hambleton Community Action, where Lizzie also worked. They have a book of condolences at Upfront in Northallerton, which will be shared with the family.
