The issues the inquiry will be focusing on include: how the government is performing on the rural economy, improving and maintaining provision for essential services, helping rural businesses to thrive, tackling deprivation and inequality, and supporting pubs, shops and other local amenities. The deadline for submissions is 4pm on Monday 10 September.
