The Association of Teesdale Day Clubs (ATDC) provides support to combat isolation, improve health & wellbeing, and provide a source of information and support.

A recent independent evaluation concluded that an excellent and valued service is provided. The Association relies on external funding and now employs 12 part time staff. The new position of Strategic Manager with a strong focus on planning, service development and securing grant funding is required to ensure future sustainability.
Reporting to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees the principal duties and accountabilities include:
- Provide clear leadership and management for the Charity, its employees and volunteers through working with the well-established Clubs and office-based staff.
- Work with and support the Board of Trustees to ensure good governance and effective development of the organisation.
- Develop and implement the organisation’s funding strategy, identifying and securing funding through public, private and corporate organisations
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record in charity management and in generating income through grant and other funding, with strong communication and organisational skills and the ability to network with a wide range of partners and funding bodies.
