Volunteering takes many forms. It can offer a great opportunity to turn you hand to something new.
This Volunteers Week (1-7 June), why not learn how to be a riverfly monitor?
The North York Moors National Park, working with the Revitalise Landscape Partnership, is holding a free Riverfly monitoring workshop for volunteers on 12 June at the national park’s headquarters in Helmsley.
The workshop aims to train volunteers in how to collect river samples and identify invertebrates to help monitor the health of the River Rye.
