Hands Up for Trustees
The Hands Up for Trustees campaign, co-ordinated by Community First Yorkshire, aims to build, develop and sustain charities and not-for-profits across North Yorkshire by matching volunteers looking for trustee positions with organisations looking for skilled and experienced trustees.
The campaign, which launched during Trustees Week 13-19 November, aims to increase understanding of the roles and value of trustees with community groups and voluntary organisations and celebrate the difference that trustees make across North Yorkshire.
Working in partnership with Reach Volunteering, the campaign looks to recruit both potential trustees and charities seeking new trustees, and provide local opportunities for trustee training and support.
