Celebrating 40 years of Volunteers’ Week, 3-9 June 2024
Making a difference
Celebrating volunteers across North Yorkshire and the difference they make to charities and communities happens all year round. But Volunteers’ Week (3 – 9 June) gives us an even bigger excuse to shout about our volunteering community! The week closes with the Big Help Out (7 – 9 June).
Plus, this year marks 40 years of Volunteers’ Week, making it an even more special one. We’re so grateful to be marking this important week again in 2024, and we’re excited to hear from fellow voluntary organisations with inspiring stories to share.
Supporting the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO’s) call to ‘be the change that we want to see’, we are encouraging people to find roles on our Volunteering in North Yorkshire (VINY) directory.
