18.50 hours per week
Fixed term of 12 months initially.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 1-2 years marketing/communications experience, to work for an international humanitarian development NGO which was founded in 1991.
This is a new role and the successful applicant will be expected to set up and deliver some big pieces of work in the first 6 months. These include; developing the new website, creating a regular newsletter, developing our brand and helping us to get ourselves known to the people that matter.
To establish our presence both locally and nationally, you will be comfortable with both written and digital content. A team-player, with the ability to plan and prioritise competing demands both calmly and efficiently.
This job is not for the faint-hearted. Working in a small, newly formed team, you will be expected to get involved in all aspects of establishing the reputation and brand of a new charity to the UK. This will include planning and coordinating events, creating visuals/infographics, writing press releases, magazine article, blogs and much more.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic self-starter, with a creative flair and the ability to contribute new and fresh ideas designed to excite and engage specific target audiences.
