Our Support workers provide daily support and personal care, and once fully trained will administer medication to our tenants. Duties may also include arranging daily activities, taking our tenants out on trips and activities, helping to prepare meals or attending sensory sessions at Wilberforce House. We also encourage tenants to develop and maintain positive relationships with family and friends.
After successful completion of your Care Certificate and induction period you will receive £9.30 for weekday hours, and £10.30 for nights and weekends. Sleep over shifts are paid at £87.20 for a 10 hour shift.
We also offer a health package with Simply Health providing financial support for dental, optical and other health bills.
You will receive 20 days’ holiday per year, plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days plus bank holidays after 2 years’ service.
There are opportunities to progress within the organisation, gain recognised qualifications including The Care Certificate and take on additional responsibilities.
All staff are supported to achieve the Care Certificate and complete their induction period.
